HAVE SALT IN YOURSELVES
Answer the following questions to determine your level of
contentment:
Are you content?
If you answered no, what reminds you that you are not content?
What percentage of your lack of contentment is financial ?
How can we have salt in ourselves? We read in Mark 9:50, “Salt
is good, but if the salt loses its flavor, how will you season it? Have
salt in yourselves, and have peace with one another.”
Peace is mentioned 92 times in the New Testament. Can you have peace
without being content? Think of contentment as the “ Salt in
yourselves.” I know a verse that gives me all the contentment and peace
I need. Hebrews 13:5 reads, “Let your conduct be without
covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself
has said, I will never leave you nor forsake you”
