My Responsibility

God created heaven and earth

For all humanity.

The earth to do His will upon;

And heaven to spend eternity.

God made the light and called it 'Day'

So man could work and earn his pay.

He made the darkness and called it night,

For a time to rest from our daily plight.

God separated the firmament

And made the land and sea;

A place where we can leave and work

And sail in ecstasy.

In the firmament, He placed beautiful lights,

The sun for day and the moon and stars by night.

God created every living,

Magnificent thing

From the firmament to the sea

And my responsibility lies

In what I do with ME!
