The garden next door

Was a sight to behold

With its towering sunflowers

Of yellow and gold!

I asked my neighbor

For some of their seed.

Her answer was yes,

Supply your need.

Chores of the day then

crowed my mind...

My request was forgotten

With the passing of time.

Then one windy day

God answered my need

And showered our garden

With her sunflower seed!
