Roger Michael - Albania

Roger Michael does mission work in Korce, Albania. He has been working in Korce
since 1995. There he helps Bill and Nancy Saltsman in their teaching program.
The Saltsman's are the resident missionaries in Korce. When they come home on
furlough, Roger stays in Korce to carry on their teaching program.
There is a congregation of about 20 members in Korce. This summer, Roger helped
the Saltsman's with a very successful Vacation Bible School in the village of
Veshteme. This village is close to Korce. Lately, Roger has been focusing on
finding a suitable place for study and worship in Korce and also finding an
Albanian preacher.
In addition to Korce, Roger also does some teaching and preaching in Rijeka,
Croatia. There along with several others, he is trying to establish a
congregation in this city of 150,000.
When Roger ins back in the United States, he works with Healing Hands
International, a humanitarian aid organization supported by Churches of Christ.
Healing Hands responds to needs around the world. They have sent aid to over 50
countries. They have been heavily involved in the relief efforts to help the
tsunami victims in Southeast Asia and famine victims in Africa.
Dean Crutchfield - India
The Pond Congregation has been supportive of Brother Crutchfield for a
number of years. India is a country of people that are very receptive of the
gospel. Our congregation sends $305.00 per month. This is enough to support
7 preachers and orphans. The native preachers rely on bicycles and lanterns
as they travel about. These items are a necessity. From the monies sent, the
necessities are also purchased.
These missionary preachers have had many to respond to the message of "The
Good News" and they are baptizing many new Christians on an ongoing basis.
